Thank you for your interest in authoring a 3DNY MediaBook. We encourage members of our community to step up to the very fulfilling challenge of working with us in creating this very unique product. We are always excited to hear your ideas for potential new projects.

Putting Your Passions to Work!

Producing any great works brings all of your passions to the forefront, gets your creative juices flowing, and your mind working a mile a minute. It’s like reliving your first love anew, whether that was for a person, your art, or the 69 Mets.

Our authors tell us that creating a MediaBook brings back those same feelings and more.

Why is a MediaBook So Special?   What is a Mediabook?

Our MediaBook format is unique. It is not a normal book, but instead a software based interactive experience for the reader that takes them on an educational journey (see what our readers have said). Creating such a project puts everyone’s best abilities to the test—both the author and our wonderful support/production team that work alongside.

As a MediaBook author you work not just in words, but also in pictures, animation, lecture format, and much more. This is an ideal format for those of us in the graphic and media arts, most of whom are at home with many of these disciplines.

What Does an Author Need?

3DNY produces educational products for the graphic arts. Though we put an emphasis on 3D related subjects, we are also very receptive to 2D, motion graphics, presentation and a range of related subjects.

A potential author needs to know his proposed subject very well, and be capable of communicating this knowledge in an organized fashion. Beyond that an author needs to know that such a project will demand a lot from the author’s life for a period of time, but when done, it will undoubtedly be something to be very proud of.

Yeah-Yeah…What’s Next?

If this is for you, then great. The next step is to hone a clear concept of the project proposal you wish to present to us. We ask that you begin simply by filling out the form below. From that point we may ask you for a more fleshed out proposal if there is interest.
